I would like to share my opinion with others so they may benefit from what I believe to be an incredible device. I’ve had my Dario for about a year now, I love it! To me, it seems to use much less blood for the sample every morning. Also, everything you need is in one small unit - the tester that plugs into your phone, the test strips, and the lancets. Everything fits neatly into this small form factor, making it the “Swiss Army”, knife of diabetes. Also for traveling, this is very convenient as it’s a very small compact unit that fits very neatly into your pocket or your purse. Are you worried about your sugar when you’re away from home? Then this is perfect as it’s so tiny, in size, but huge in function. The free app they provide leverage is 2FA authentication for security, has a beautiful user interface, and is functionally rich. It maintains a very nice history of all of your testing as well as has a lot of great helps and tips to help you manage your diabetes. I recently had my A1c checked my blood work required by my doctor. In my case, the estimated A1c was almost exactly on the money. I was delighted at the accuracy. I use it every day, so I’m expecting that may contribute to the accuracy. What a great little tool. Waiting for it to set up through the app was so slow and frustrating that it probably raised my blood pressure just from it.

Doesn’t work with the new iPhone 16 pro max or if using the "c" adapter. I have installed the app twice and each time it says the device is not supported. I went the Dario’s website and it claims it works with the most recent iPhones including the 16promax.

Your app randomly messes with my phone's volume by setting it to 100%. Why??

I love the size and portability of Dario. I ordered a new Dario when I got an iPhone 16. It never came. I’ve called and sat on hold twice and also emailed. No response from customer service. I’m out $69 (I also ordered some supplies). My husband got me another. It came quickly, but I have to take the cover off my phone to use it.

I tried to pay so I could have coach support but got nowhere. Ordered the blood pressure device and another finger stick device. Nothing gets you access to their coaches. Personally I think Dario Health has no coaches or staff to support you. Otherwise I never had a issue with the app or devices. Without the coaching support Dario Health is useless to me. As I have found other health professionals who have coaches. Try Omada or Virta they even accept medical insurance.

I have been using the Dario app for a while now! I love the update app except for that I can’t get rid of old repeating messages from the app!

I joined Dario back in 2019. I loved that you could test your sugar on your phone! That has been the best invention. I am someone who cannot use a sensor. As time has gone this program has declined. I have to replace the testing device at least twice a year. Can’t you make one that will last? Then the last nine months I consistently get told my sugar is low. Every time I test. When did a 100 become al low? Next I had a high of 221 for a short time. Now I keep getting a warning about seeing a doctor. I’ve had T1D for 30 years. You’re going to have highs at times. I don’t need to be shamed for what number my sugar reads. I’ve even got text messages scolding me for a high. Really? This is information to help me dial in better control. An ongoing challenge as a T1D person. Scolding people doesn’t make them want to test. But maybe that’s your goal? It’s definitely not what any diabetic wants or needs. This program is supposed to help you improve not tear you down. This used to be a great program. But as time has gone the program has gotten worse. I definitely would stop using it but I love the ease of using my phone to test my blood. Dario please improve your product! This is for your diabetic patrons and your shareholders!

I don’t know what happened but the app doesn’t work unless I power my phone down. If I don’t do this the app will measure that the strip is used. Please fix this. Also when are you going to make it possible to enter the A1C from our lab results. This estimation has never been close and it is always lower than my lab results such as my lab was 6.3 vs 5.2 on the app.

This app has been incredibly helpful to me. There's definitely something comforting about knowing your sugar levels.I am disappointed that is is not adaptable to the iPhone 16.

This app is really helpful with keeping track of my blood pressure and glucose. It's really informed me in the past few years on what to do and what not to do and how to keep myself and great health.

I really love this gadget it’s a much better convenient way to keep up with your blood sugar count the only downfall It cracks easily this my fourth one the needle cover cracked this time it’s very fragile remake with stronger material

Your Tech Support team tells me that your device (which I love !) will not work with my new iPhone 16. How soon will this be corrected? Thanks from a fan

This has been my number one tool to monitor my sugar . Since the iOS 18 update . It won’t open !! It boots out .. please fix this 🙏🏻 UPDATE:: Deleted App and re installed app and Thank you Lord ! It works perfectly !! Customer service is amazing , they also responded so quick ! Love this app ! It is the best accurate one out there for glucose monitoring !!

Didn’t use the app for 1 week and now it has switched to a different metric with no way of changing it back. Updated app and now it won’t open - repeatedly crashes.

Had issue after upgrading to iOS 18. Deleted and reinstalled and app and device are back to working perfectly.

9/24/2024- Discovered that totally deleting the Dario App, including all the history, allowed me to reinstall and fix the app. Even though it erased the records, it was able to restore them from Apple’s Health app. I wish they had told me that there was a way to restore the loss, as I was afraid I’d lose years of results. I guess I will continue with Dario as long as it will work. =========== After loading iOS 18 on my iPhone 14 Plus, the app at first lost all the history, only gave one point digital numbers, then started crashing every time it opened. I’ve spent thousands of dollars on strips and lances over the years, but if it isn’t fixed VERY soon, I will need to buy a different device.

The latest version of the app is unstable and will frequently crash. I wish I could go back to the prior version where I had zero issues. Be careful updating, you may lose data or it will incorrectly register your measurements.

Used it for one year, no issue at all. Fail to open the app after IOS 18 even updated the app.

I updated to IOS18 and the software suddenly was in moles and no history. I saw there was a newer release and installed it. Now the app won’t run. Dario says ‘not supported on IOS18’ with no expected date. Beware.

Regretfully I can no longer recommend Dario to my clients. There lack of development seems to border on the “as long as we get our money we do t care” type attitude. Not working on iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 at all. USB-C reader. Can’t take blood sugars which quickly becomes a heath issue for some.

Update: I deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it. Now it is working correctly. I changed my rating to only 3 stars because of the bad experience. I updated to iOS 18 yesterday. I have taken 2 measurements since and the app congratulated me on my 1st measurement both times(I have over 3 years of data) I looked at the logbook and it shows a manual measurement, but no figures. I checked my health app and it shows that I lost over 3 months there too. Checked the App Store and there is an update (which wasn’t there after the iOS upgrade). So I updated this morning and now it spins, then crashes. Totally useless.

App stopped working with upgrade to iOS 18. All my Blood Glucose records reset to 0 and the app won’t load.

Update: 5.8.11 seems to be working in iOS 18. Thx Dario. App freezes after 5 seconds. Since uploading iOS18 the Dario app no longer works. I tried deleting and re-downloading the app but still not working.

If you are using this application, don't upgrade to IOS 18. The application is totally broken in IOS 18

An app as critical as this to monitor blood glucose levels should be keeping up with OS updates even before they are released. It was showing weird readings and also blanked out older readings. Then it started crashing completely after update to latest version.

The app was already not compatible with iOS 18. So their ability to plan ahead for major iOS updates is poor. But now the most recent update has broken the app completely. The app just crashes upon opening.

Entire log is empty after update to ios18. Had to delete and reinstall for it to come back.

Have problems with new ios18 where it loops constantly and says activating device. I have to uninstall and reinstall to get it working again. Hopefully will be fixed with an update.

It is discrete, compact and efficient. The features of being able to see an average of blood sugars really helps and the machine will tell you if your test strips are expired. I like that I can carry supplies for a 2 week trip in a case smaller than my makeup bag.

What is wrong the app keep crashing whenever i open it to connect my phone, i deleted it and downloaded it again several times and it still keeps crashing.

I have the Dario for iPhone Lightning. The app had glitches during setup. I left the app and tried again. The app seemed to work. However, the iPhone attachment for measuring DOES NOT WORK! That’s a lot of money for a defective device!

If it’s important to you to keep a good log of your blood pressure, this is not for you. Even if you have your phone very close, more often than not, it will not log your readings. I regret this purchase. It looks nice though. Big backlit numbers. But that’s not why I needed a monitor.

+/– 15-20% repeatedly from one measurement to the next. I take 2 or 3 measurements and average them.

Include filters in the statistics window in the 7 day, 30 day options. Filters in the “today” option is ridiculous. Please include the filters in the other options where they can really do some good. Would be nice to be able to track progress. Come on guys, you can do better than this. And by the way, this is not a user friendly / intuitive app. You need to include instructions!! And I am very computer savvy.

I’m new to this diagnosis. System is easy to use and easy to understand. Does give me a view of what I have done and how it has changed the overall outcome of my blood sugar levels. The fact it pairs with my phone and I can share with my doctor is a bonus.. even the little note section as that helps with why my number is the way it is. Good product. As long as I’m going to need this type of product I will continue to use it. Thanks, TS

Dario is a complete scam. They advertise lancets and strips, but you can't get them anywhere on the site or in the app besides buying them at the store. I've had to call or message just to get them at advertised price of free or included with subscription. You can't downgrade your subscription on the site only renew. Their website doesn't even let you correctly change your address - says it needs a phone number but there is no phone number field; I let them know of this simple bug a year ago and it's still present. Save your money and your sanity and find an alternative to Dario.

Doesn’t connect my BP unit to the device except the first time. Upgrade your app to connect better please so this isn’t a big wast of money for me.

If I take 2 tests within the same minute the readings fluctuate 250 MGs. This product is unreliable and dangerous.

Oh, sorry. There is no customer service!!! I have called numerous times about the wrong device being shipped to me. Nobody answers. Nobody calls back. What a piece of s—t company!!!

I love the app, but without Dexcom integration I can’t use it, I use Dario as my backup or to calibrate Dexcom, any idea if or when we will be able to connect the G7 to the Dario app?

I tried re sending the code multiple times, checked all inboxes, junk, trash-never got an email code so I can’t use the app even tho I spent $75 on a product to use with it. Complete scam.

The app is fine. I’m type 1 and don’t need bells and whistles. The problem is how cheaply it is made. Within 2 months of using , 2 meters have broken apart. I thought, yeah made in China, but actually I learned they are made in Israel. Interesting. Anyway, if you are like me and use it 5-10 times a day make sure you have a back up for when it breaks apart, because if the plug in part falls apart you’re screwed. That’s where I’m at. To Dario credit they will replace it , you just have to wait a week or two for shipping. Waiting on my 3rd meter now.

So I’ve used this device for many many years since the day the kick started, and before they even had iPhone connections. The device and app are very accurate and cost for this medical necessity is so much cheaper than I can do with my insurance. We also use this for a diabetic dog because the cost is 1/5 that of the dog supplies and if you’ve ever tried to get blood from a dog you know then, this device requires very little and others require a lot. So medically, yep I love it. The issue is all the ads recently! I’m a paid customer! Why are you advertising when I’m sitting here with a drop of blood and now I have 4 popup ads I have to dismiss with my other hand to get back to the screen so I can measure. OMG people this is a medical device, what if it were an emergency to get that number and you are making me click through ads before I can take the measurement? Why are you doing this? I’m already a paying customer, why do you need popup ads? It is irritating that you do not know when and where in your own app to display things. You certainly do not need to popup during a medical test! Next, their statement about no data and privacy is WRONG! it is a lie. They FORCE you to register and create an account; this is a newer feature because it wasn’t required when they started. Not only, do they advertise on the product you bought but now they send you junk mail EVERYDAY! Also, the dog that I had to register in the device and put a name in there, is now getting junk mail from every company in the world that has to do with diabetes and its addressed to the dog. There is only ONE place that has that name and the mail address associated and it’s Dario. So PLEASE KNOW they collect personal info sell your information. They use it for other purposes. They ask you for person info which you think is for it to do things correctly, Do not fill in your weight, sex, age etc… because they use your personal info to sell to others if you are over/under weight, senior, or whatever you’ll be targeted! They use ever scrap of data you enter into this device! Including your numbers! If the device weren’t so inexpensive and worked well I’d throw it in the garbage and report them to the FDA and give this the lowest rating. If they stopped the pop ups I’d move them to a 3 and if they stopped the stealing of my medical and personal info they’d be a 5. If none of this matters to you then go ahead and use it! But please fake your name and info into the device. You’ll still get junk mail and ads but they won’t be selling your real name and stat any longer.

I cannot get it to work. I have an iPhone 14. I downloaded the app. Got it all ready. I inserted the monitor. Then I inserted the test strip when it prompted me to and just like it should go in. Then I put my drop of blood on it and it does nothing. It won’t read it. WHY?? This is ridiculous. I have tried five times and it won’t work.

I really like my Dario it’s easy to use. One problem I’m having, I received a new phone it’s an iPhone 15 and have not been able to get the compatible plug in therefore I have been using a plain glucometer and manually entering my blood sugars. I find this very annoying.
